Sounds like its too late now, that limit will cover pretty much anything bar engine going pop, but £75 won't cover any OPC doing the work - which would put me off on a newish car (my 2008 997 turbo never saw an OPC as I preferred 9E and RGA)
Your points are valid. Comes down to personal choice. I wont be keeping this car forever (i change once a year atm).

I've never had any work done at an official dealer for any of my cars (Audi, VW etc) because i feel they always rip you off. Audi for example subcontract their wheel and tyre services to Kwik fit and charge you "Audi" prices.

Theres a really good Porsche indy in my city for major repairs and i'm on good terms with a local wheel/tyre garage who i trust.

That's not entirely true - they check the ECU diagnostics and rev ranges.
As someone else said - If the 111 point check is comprehensive enough for Porsche to allow a warranty to be placed on a car its good enough as you have the back-up if anything goes wrong.

Not to mention you can flash the ECU and reset the values.

Can we get back to the early rear tyres and clutch. Any info now on why these were changed?

Early rear tyres was because they were soft compound tyres, plus if you don't wear out your rears then you're doing it wrong. Fronts would've been worn out too if it was tracked.

Clutch was replaced cus the owner had a disability (MS) that made him burn the clutch out.

I own the car now so I feel comfortable posting this.

Why troll? Is it because you don't like the comment?
I own a 987.1 and within the first few months of ownership had to spent ~£5K on repairs only. Bought my Merc. with 1900 miles and scraped it with 187,000 miles, never spent £5K on repairs during my ownership.

Shell I count the issues with the Porsches? IMS, Bearing seal, Cyl. scoring, Gear cables that breaks more or less at will, Gear boxes that don't last or start to slip?

Saying what I said, not other car that I have ever owned provided me with so my pleasure as this little Porsche does. My next car will also be a Porsche, but at least now I know that these cars are not as good as one might think/hope.

Ask about the over-rev counts. Since the prior owner had trouble shifting, make sure he didn't exceed the rev limiter.
