Interior without steering wheel was £1950 net cost. Steering wheel was £1700 on top but there’s a strong secondhand market for them into the older generations so would expect to get minimum £1200 back when sold.

OPC also told me it wasn’t possible, bit of research and 100% was and easy, and yes multifunction buttons work perfectly but I did have the multifunction wheel already. If you haven’t it’s a bit more involved but still possible.

I bought my GTS as the only OPC manual available start of 2022. I specifically wanted a GTS, manual gearbox and a good colour (no black, silver, grey or white). The concession I had to make was the interior as car came with full leather option but I knew I could sort this one way or another.

Back end of 2022 a 718 GTS salvage car appeared and I bought the entire interior and sold my full leather interior - I now had a 981 GTS spec I was very happy with and a base car for further mods.
Do you mind me asking how much this was?

I have a 981 GTS with the sport steering wheel.I take it thats it's doable for mine with PDK paddles? I'm not worried about sport/sport plus illumination on the wheel as I never see it anyway.

Will a GT4 wheels fit as its smaller I believe?

Could I be cheeky and ask where you found out your info please? I was pretty sure it was doable, but obvs would like to see a 'how to'...

Mine is the GT spec wheel which is 360mm diameter and bought brand new, this is the same as the GT4 wheel.

You may need an adapter to make paddles work from GPS Adapters in China - great service and all the required details, have a look on their website.

I did a load of research and confident to then swap wheels, it’s a very common upgrade in the states who are less risk adverse to modifications.

Big price tag but what a spec with Carbon Buckets, X73 & PTV and PCCB.

Someone really didn’t want a manual roof on a Spyder when they spec’d this new.

Aaah. Thank you.

£60k cars feel quite ‘strong’’ to me… As you say, gotta really hate the manual roof… smile

Lovely.

Had mine out too but roads were damp so she’s not looking shiny like your.

I did always prefer a dirty ride to anything prim and proper mind.

Is that after market suspension, looks way lower than normal, top of tyres almost level with the wheel arch?

Probably X73 passive setup as apposed to PASM. Mine had X73 and sat like that.

With the state of our roads nowadays I’m guessing PASM would be preferable ?

Probably as a road car but X73 very sought after due to rarity

Tbh I’ve never seen one that tucked into the wheel arch before.

Riskins has h&r springs fitted over pasm. It's slightly lower than x73. A bit like sports pasm on the 718, ride is probably slightly softer than x73 despite how it looks.
