[quote=LemonTart]I have asked for one but was told I was no 5 on the list so chances are pretty slim... so that is surpressing my excitement.

Yes be surprised if the OPCs get that many cars. I have bought two new GT4s and a 911 over the past three years but suspect I likely won’t get one either!

Hearing that first cars will arrive October onwards with dealers getting 1 car only!

Suspect the reason this thread is quiet is not all dealers have been given their first car allocation yet.

I’ve been confirmed…I can’t have one… i guess to be expected but I must admit after 15 years of Porsche ownership it just all gets a bit tedious the Porsche game… maybe time to sell up and find a new hobby…

Congratulations on the allocation. If you are annoyed whilst actually winning at the game just think how annoying it is for those that don't get a look in.

On the plus side, if more people start feeling like you do the overs market will quickly become a thing of the past.

As far as im aware no offical allocations have been given to centres. They have just been told that, they more than likely they will get 1 car only with deliveries starting very late in the year or early next.

One car - FFS - begs the question of why even bother building the thing!

Love the way it says "Order books now open" or similar on promotional material. If only it were that easy

It’s a load of boll%%%s honestly, I really can’t see this business model lasting as we head into a 5-8% base rate decade…

It might if they switch to high prices (more akin to the flipper rates) and lower volumes (due to emissions limits) for the GT stuff here in the UK and EU. There will still be a chunk of buyers worldwide too where economies and emissions limits differ.

Mine is reporting October for a late 23 build. However they are still not confirming that they will get any allocation at all.

Bonkers considering the car was launched weeks ago.

How will they build the Spyder RS, beyond the summer shutdown, if the "ordinary" Spyder has finished production now, and electrification is due for the platform from MY 23.5 onwards (i.e. vehicles built after the plant re-opens, post shutdown)?

Are they going to maintain a line for the GT4RS and Spyder RS on their own?
