They aren't rare, theyre just all knackered. When I had a lot more to do with 944 parts they were mostly all knackered even in the mid nineties, with only damaged 924Ss providing decent trim.

Your choices are either spend a fortune on a replacement or buy a leather re-covering kit for about £130.

What are the recovering kits like and how hard are they to fit, the dash is a mess and just looking to get it a bit tidier looking

You can buy new for about £550.

I have one which was perfect until about five years ago when my garage froze and it now has a tiny crack between two of the vents - it has been stable ever since.

I alternate between intending to keep it and considering selling it. Its as rare as unicorn ste so I realise that it will be virtually irreplaceable, but I doubt that I will own a 924 dash car again now that I am no longer looking for a 924 Turbo.

If you intend to keep the car then I may sell it if youre interested. Id prefer to sell to someone who is restoring a car though.

Have you thought about getting it flocked ?
Hides all sorts of nasties, looks the part and cuts out reflective glare.
Usually cost around £100 - £120 for dash and door cards.

My dash is fine but I am now using it as a daily and am considering having the dash and door cards flocked (a friend has had a couple of cars done by this guy - http://www.theflockshop.co.uk/ and highly recommends him)

My central infill panels are cracked mind (the ones that hold the switches) and I cannot seem to get replacements so am thinking about carbon wrap for them too.

That's Ron, isn't it? He is spot-on and would be my recommendation too.

OP: Im not ignoring you and I will get the perfect dash out over th weekend if I can, and check its condition.
