Oil catch can - 944

Has anyone installed an oil catch can on an early 944?

I'm getting a bit of smoke on heavy throttle and it's not due to the usual suspects or a fuelling issue.

Interested if anyone has fitted one and results.

I've got one here to fit on my Turbo but haven't yet.

Trying to remember back to when I had my 2.7 but pretty sure that the air/oil separator configuration is the same. Best bet is to renew the seals on it and then if you're fitting a catch can plumb it inbetween the hose that goes from the AOS into the inlet manifold.

I may give the AOS a bit of love and then give it a kick in the guts. If still a little smoky I'll add the catch can.

Where did you get your from? These US built aluminium ones look quite tasty...

Got it from a 944 forumite but it's just a cheapy generic one.
