Bargain S2

Surely a bargain for someone not afraid to spend some time getting the cosmetics sorted! It's done a few miles but I'm tempted for the seats alone

I'd be surprised if that's still there. I'm not a fan of the S2 but if I was nearer I'd have had it for a 3.0 16v turbo conversion.

Crumbs, that's cheap. I really hope it isn't bought and broken as that would be a sad end to the car. 215,000 miles is nothing for an S2 if it's well looked after and that could make someone a really great car.

I assumed the price was wrong until I saw it in the add text as well. Does seem very cheap....perhaps it's hidding something

Sounds like it may need a clutch... although that wouldn't frighten me so much now.

S2 with aircon though - very rare, even rarer if it's working.

I'd say the price was about right, not a bargain, but the sports seats & bridge spoiler hatch are probably worth close on half that. I'm assuming the sills will be rusty & need some work.

Yes, but if you were handy and could do some work yourself then a new clutch and some new sills would probably cost you £3000 at the most. You then have a late-model S2 with a known-good clutch and sills for not much at all.
