Hi,

I have just taken delivery of a 2008 Cayenne GTS. It does NOT have the collapsible spare tyre option as it has BOSE instead - that's fine. However, the jack, wheel brace, 2 chocks & silver ‘rod thing’ are all missing.

Were these items deleted on cars with no spare, as arguably if there was no spare tyre you would not need these tools, or were they supplied on all vehicles as standard?

If anyone has any information on this I would be really grateful for your input. Many thanks for your help.

Jon

I have a 955 Cayenne rather than a 957, so can't comment exactly, but a 957 I recently test drove, definitely had the Silver towing eye, is that what you mean by the silver rod thing or is it the wheel guide used when changing tyres?

The car also had a canister of tyre repair gunk.

Also check the locking wheel nut key is there, assuming you have locking wheel nuts.

Hi - thanks for your reply! The tow eye & wheel nut adaptor are indeed both present. I just don't want the dealer to think I am moaning about something missing, if it is not really missing (ie. not originally spec'd), if you know what I mean.
