944 turbo exhaust options

I see that there has been a little chat about exhausts in the past but not much and probably due for some more I hope

I currently have a Dansk rear box which I am looking at replacing, I don't know how long it has been on but it may have a baffle loose and not sure whether to repair or replace. I see that they are around £275, what else is there though?

I have seen a Fabspeed one for £800+ but was looking at spending around £500 as most of the budget has been used on clutch and mounts...

People have also suggested getting something manufactured?

I am in East Sussex and would rather get something local incl fitting if possible but mail order and self fitting is fine also.

What should I do?

1. Repair or repace the Dansk as there is not much else around for that money
2. Go over budget for Fabspeed or something else at that money
3. Something else in the middle?

I would be grateful for any opinions and experiences

Ask on the regional forums and see who is good local to you. A decent exhaust fabricator will be able to advise you if the original can be repaired, this might be the best option and you could then save up for a turbo back exhaust...

Depends what turbocharger you're running, slapping a full 3" system on a with a standard turbo wont really achieve much, you could have the middle box replaced with a length of stainless tube for a bit more noise and flow.

I can suggest a brilliant system for around £500, but the supplier is in the North East.

I have said brilliant system on my car - circa £550 from AAS in Newcastle, they will ship for a very reasonable price too.
