Will a 6 speed gearbox from a 968 Sport work on a 944 S2?

Not straightforward but its something that has never made much sense as the 968 box is heavier, less robust/more troublesome and due to the rarity of all 968s worth quite a chunk of change. Worst of all you don't gain any performance advantage as the 6th in a 968 is like an overdrive on top of the 5 speeds in the S2 box, its only the 5th that gives a slight drop which can be bettered by just changing the 5th gear cluster on an S2 box to that from the earlier S.
