My OPC has literally just offered me there first Turbo.

I wasn't first on their list, and have have been given given 24 hrs to spec the car. The car configurator doesn't even have it listed yet!

Is there less interest in this car than there was - or am I being well looked after?

I have to make my mind up really quickly here.

What’s the base spec? Same as gen1 (400bhp, 3.6litre)?

Lovely car now doubt, but I always thought it was a relatively small step in power and torque from the GTS. That 3.0 engine (and the new 2.9) can be wound up much higher than in the GTS so I never understood why Porsche chose to use the 3.6. Maybe that’ll change for the gen2.

There was speculation that the new Macan Turbo would get the same engine as the Cayenne S

"Porsche confirmed the Macan Turbo's engine during the standard model's introduction. It'll share the Cayenne S' twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 with 434 bhp, which will equal the 2018 Macan Turbo with the optional Performance Package"

I was recently at my OPC and they have the new cayenne coupe beside the Macan in the showroom. It makes the Macan look a little dated IMHO. I could see Macan owners considering a switch when it comes to changing.

I doubt its the latter wink

They are likely going down the list until they find the first person that falls into the, 'must have new now regardless category'.

Turbo PP is the one to have 440 bhp and the same chassis as the GTS. Brilliant daily....best daily Porsche make IMHO.

I spec'd mine this morning and the engine is the same as the Cayenne S. So 440PS
