best build quality cars are the 1984-1986 S2s...
And the best shape too. I love that shape, especially the tail lights...

Hi All

My local Porsche dealership has recently become a Classic Porsche centre and ran an event this morning....of course 90% 911, but guess whose 928 they wanted to show?

Nice to see it in a Porsche showroom! driving

Yes they've shot up but will it go for less than the ex Derek Bell CS !?

For context a vetroresina 308 can be had for around half ! yum

Any excuse! smile
My first ever car. Starting the way I intended to carry on. I often wonder if it’s out there somewhere still.

I didn't buy it. nor did I buy another car.

Since I posted originally, I shifted my interest to trying to find a really nice manual 850Ci or perhaps an 840Ci. And then life took a turn for the worse and my elderly mother, who I'd been caring for for a long time, died. After that I decided that acquiring more cars was not the best idea considering that I already have four and now on my own and with no real family links here in the UK, there's a possibility of my deciding to move abroad where the weather is better, the roads are better and the food is better. And I currently have three cars at home and another in a rented garage. I need to move to somewhere more conducive to multi car ownership first, or get rid of something I already have!

Sorry sparta6 I only just saw your message today. Yes, Cassis Red Metallic. It did stand out a bit! My wife and I were only just married, in our mid-20s, and had some wonderful adventures in our few years owning the ‘Pink Porsche’ as my friends called it. Sometimes a car is more than just a car. I think all petrolheads kind of get that.

PS. Sorry for your loss, LunarOne.
