I have been told UK cars will be delivered from around August.
Personally I think it will be the sweet spot of the range as it’s essentially a GTS without the black wheels, GTS trim which I’m not a huge fan of in the Cayenne.
Expect a big price hike but apparently more standard equipment compared to the outgoing 2.9 S.

I’m thinking that I’ll keep hold of our existing Taycan rather than change it and so I’d like to add a Cayenne to the fleet. A hybrid with a low Bik would make sense, but a base model in private ownership would also be reasonable. However, a V8 option sounds lovely and won’t exist for too much longer.
I'm in two minds on this. The new V8 'S' is appealing, but then so is the to-be-announced-later 'S hybrid' - although it's anyone's guess if we're getting that (and the Turbo S hybrid) in the UK. On the other hand, I'm not sure this is enough of an evolution compared to my current 2018 2.9 S, which although coming up to its 5th birthday, still only has 32k miles on the clock and is paid for outright. If you were looking at buying one for the first time, the new upgrades are very attractive, but I think my default will still be to sit on my current car and wait until going fully electric in a few more years rather than shelling out another £45-50k to upgrade.
I wasn't ever interested in a Cayenne before (I have a MY22 Macan GTS) but this new E-Hybrid is in the magic 8% BiK bracket so I could now be in the market for one through my company. I'm surprised the configurator isn't yet live, I checked the website earlier and it was still the old model, this afternoon it switched to the new one but the configurator link isn't there yet.
Depending on what Porsche BCH looks like, and what the options spend would need to be to get it to a reasonable spec it could be a good option.

Configurator has been delayed due to some issues with the renderings they use.
Actually quite surprised by the relatively small price increase for the new models given their higher basic spec. I was expecting the price to be bumped up quite a bit more.

I've been playing with the new configurator and some things aren't showing on the graphic - if you select any of the exterior design packages for example nothing happens.
Still needs a lot of options to get it to a fairly basic spec, a lot of which really should be standard on such an expensive car. Not sure what Porsche BCH figures look like, but I got to £15k of options very easily so if the full cost of the options are included in the lease payments as they are with other cars it'll probably be a bit of a none starter!
