I've been playing with the new configurator and some things aren't showing on the graphic - if you select any of the exterior design packages for example nothing happens.
Still needs a lot of options to get it to a fairly basic spec, a lot of which really should be standard on such an expensive car. Not sure what Porsche BCH figures look like, but I got to £15k of options very easily so if the full cost of the options are included in the lease payments as they are with other cars it'll probably be a bit of a none starter!

95k
Don't know weather the RR Sport autobiography is a better buy at 105k
I have an order in, but currently have a RRS P510e First Edition - so it's not an easy call to make. Love the RRS, despite me being a total Porsche nut having had many of them over the years (and currently a Spyder in the garage).
Cayenne is a nice car (I have had one before), but it does soon get expensive with options, I am just north of £100k with the spec I have currently gone with (mind you that's less than the RRS).
Interesting to compare, 0-60 on the Porsche is quicker (despite less BHP) and I imagine will be a much better driving experience, but battery capacity much better on the RRS and it is nice and high and I think they have nailed the looks of the latest one.
This definitely falls into the first world problems category - I guess the truth is both are great cars and both will more than adequately serve my needs.

I switched a RRS for my current Macan as I was sick of it going wrong all the time. It was a lovely car when it worked, however sadly that wasn't much of the time! I've vowed never to go near JLR again, as so far my Macan has been great without a single electrical fault or weird glitch. I'd say that was a big plus point for the Cayenne (unless I've just been lucky?) but if your RRS is working well and seems reliable then maybe it's a keeper?Cayenne is a nice car (I have had one before), but it does soon get expensive with options, I am just north of £100k with the spec I have currently gone with (mind you that's less than the RRS).

Managed to get a June build slot for a Cayenne only to then be told not all options available due to component shortages
Suffice to say they were options I wanted so passed on the slot.
You would imagine on a brand new launched car all options would be available
What options were you told not available ? Suffice to say they were options I wanted so passed on the slot.

We have a June build and not been told anything isn't available

HD lights, Passenger screen and Surround and parking option. So only 3 that I was told about but 2 of them I wanted. We have a June build and not been told anything isn't available
There are some lovely options with the new car - found my perfect spec - and will take it as soon as the options are back available.
Apparently it was an email yesterday that they got from Porsche telling them of what couldn’t be specced.

Kinda crazy that two of the options are new for this generation. Would have expected them to be available. There are some lovely options with the new car - found my perfect spec - and will take it as soon as the options are back available.

We have Surround camera added. Spec was sent over Friday. So I guess dealer will email telling us not available tomorrow !

I would guess so, no reason why I would have been told they not available, as it stopped me proceeding with a build slot. But maybe worth a check? We have Surround camera added. Spec was sent over Friday. So I guess dealer will email telling us not available tomorrow !

I have the surround camera on my current Cayenne S and for me it would be a must have on the new car and would stop me from ordering if I was told I couldn’t have it
Completely agree - hence my declining the build slot I was offered. Strange that some people say they haven’t been told - I know my dealer very well (had many cars) so can’t think of a reason why he would tell me it wasn’t available.Time will tell I guess!
