My mate has a new S Hybrid which has been delayed by the software issue and now available for collection.
Just wondering if any OPC has offered compensation for the delay or offered any goodies to help offset the disappointment with the delay ?

A pal of mine got paint protection and a set of winter wheels but the car was delayed about two months , this was after negotiations , nothing was offered.

New eHybrid finally delivered! Been a bit of drawn out process with all the stop sales, but couldn’t be happier.
Thank to Porsche Chester for another great experience.

Little over a week since delivery and my E-Hybrid coupé going into local PC with a "Engine Control Fault" - technician came to diagnose and advised it's likely something to with the charging system. Can't charge the car using my EV Charger app to schedule (fails with Charging error car side), but does work using the limited capability of the MyPorsche app.

Other notable mentions:

1. Range absolutely nowhere near what is indicated from a full charge (45-50 miles) - real world no more then 20-25 miles. Could be something to do with the car sat in dealership for 5 months. Going to need to go through numerous charge/discharge cycles before this improves.

2. Steering feels mighty heavy even with power steering plus.

3. Don't bother with Ambient Lighting: totally non-existent during the day and extremely poor at night. No idea why they've made this so ineffective (even at 100% brightness).

4. Don't bother with the HD lights: no different to the LED matrix in terms of what you can see. Don't do much on motorways or night drives to see the big difference.

5. Driving with the air suspension is like wow. Super comfortable and worth every penny.

6. Bose is a must: had the MY23 and didn't bother with the upgraded Bose and lived to regret it. Sound quality (depth, resonance, clarity, bass etc) now puts a smile on your face for those that love listening to their music without that tinny, flat echo.

7. Carplay: had a few glitches where car doesn't pick up Apple Carplay even though phone connected. Mysteriously drops it then picks it up every so often.

8. Leather Finish: really poor finishing in places; causing air pockets and sagging in numerous areas

Sorry to hear about the issue.

Our IRL electric mileage is pretty much spot on to what is claimed, especially if all used around town/local roads. Does drop a bit of used on a motorway run, but only by a few miles. Hard to say what real MPG average is though, due to a glitch in the app Trip data that appears to only allow a maximum of 100.9mpg to be displayed.

We didn’t spec air or Bose. Ride is actually much better than we expected, but assume it would be even better with air. And yes, the standard sound system is pretty poor.

Hope your issues are resolved quickly.

Thanks mate.. my post comes across pretty negative but overall it's an amazing car that there is no doubt.. just let down with some niggles which I guess you would find in any new car otherwise it would be close to perfect..

Just hope the control fault/charging issue is not a major problem.

My car entered the UK end September 2023 so to have sit around for almost 6 months was might frustrating and not good for the engine or batteries.. and that's maybe why the battery pack is not quite at optimum operating level I'm thinking..

be interested to hear other owner experiences overall and any niggles/issues everyone else has had.

We collected our e-hybrid up in October (in a narrow window between stop sales) and have now done over 2500 miles. Overall it is a great car and we are very happy with it.

Typically after a full charge ours indicates a range of 40 miles. On local journeys I would say we probably see a real world range of 30 - 35 miles but on colder days or if you use electric mode on faster roads it will be less. We’ve had to do quite a lot of longer (100 mile +) journeys over the last few months and our average lifetime mpg is 37.2 which I am happy with, especially as I like to put it in sport mode when the opportunity arises!

We’ve had no technical issues and the steering is quite light in my view (we do have rear wheel steer which I would definitely recommend, as well as air). It’s going in for a software update next Monday, presumably to catch us up with the second stop sale that we missed.

Sorry, forgot to mention, ours was also built in June year and has been sat at the dealer since September.

Also find the steering perfectly weighted. Definitely not too heavy. Can spin it with one hand if needed. And it isn’t Power Steering Plus.

1700 miles in, and just running short trips and mooching around, so far so good, with EV range actually better than advertised. Seen several days where EV range has been circa 49-50 miles.

No issues so far. Really enjoying it as a family motor.

Also really liking the Simpson and Partners charger we had installed. Works really well and looks absolutely fantastic. Can recommend.
