Camshaft lifter. at 220k: Big job and the replaced both of them as it is about intensive. As I recall about $7000
In the UK, we'd just buy another one for $7k Cheib said:
I was at Center Gravity a couple of weeks ago. They’d just had one of these in….not just petrol they will go through.
The tyres fitted to it are incredibly soft…Treadware of 80 which to put it into perspective a Cup 2 is about 180 and PS4S is 300. Obviously the cost of tyres if nothing compared to fuel and all the other running costs but it shows you how they’ve extracted the performance.
Cough, cough. This one?The tyres fitted to it are incredibly soft…Treadware of 80 which to put it into perspective a Cup 2 is about 180 and PS4S is 300. Obviously the cost of tyres if nothing compared to fuel and all the other running costs but it shows you how they’ve extracted the performance.
It would appear there are only 200 in the U.K. making them quite rare. In my search I discovered Porsche Centre Bournemouth had 4 at one point… were they trying to corner the market?!
The tyres are P Zero Corsas - in the wet and particularly when it’s cold they are twitchy without even trying. Thankfully pilot S4S are also available in that size and approved for fitment so I suspect that’s what will replace the Corsas when they’re finished.

I sold my PTS Turbo GT purely down to the lack of rear middle seat, it kinda made it impractical when we wanted to take the kids out, alos the lack of pan roof, i spec's privacy glass if i recall which then made it really dark in the rear along with being Claustrophobic..
All i remember was everytime i took out for a drive i would hammer the hell out of it as it was seriously additive
At the prices now i think they are a decent purchase second hand, the new one doesn't seem to be shifting being hybrid

The fronts on mine (Pirelli Corsa) had to be replaced at 4k miles of mainly town driving, outer shoulders as usual. £550 each from Germany.

At £120K this is either a typo or a (relative) bargain - https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/X864ZP

Typo or indicative of a car being priced to sell ? This Sport Classic is £40k plus cheaper than any other car at an OPC including one at the same OPC which is £60k more expensive despite both being circa 500 mile cars in PTS colours !https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...

I bought this car, due to pick it up next weekend. They didn't honour the £120k 😂. I tried...Happy with the spec, would've liked 4 zone climate, but it's not the end of the world.
