At first I thought it looked like Saunton Sands in Devon to me - I used to surf there a lot ( then again I was often fuelled with alcohol). I can't make out if it's sea or mist in the background. If sea it isn't SS but if mist it could well be!

2.7 RS Recreation, had correct Tuthill built 2.7 RS engine but rest was from a 911 E, sold it in 2002 for £13k...

Had the GT3 for about 6 months back in 2008/2009, another one I should have kept...

I've owned this Gen.2 Cayman S since Jan, it's getting some mods to make it a bit more focused but so far quite impressed.

That's all they were worth back then, in 2001 I sold my two owner low mileage Carrera 3.0 for £16,000 and bought a scruffy 964 RS for £17,000! Sold that 18 months later for £26,000 and thought I'd done rather well.

I try to avoid looking at current air cooled 911 values

Brings back memories of my marine blue/linen 964 targa, apart from the wheels and aero's.

At least you got to enjoy them and not worry about them. How often would you use a £200K 964RS
