Lovely colour. As for photobucket, tell me about it. I lost over seven thousand images on a series of photography threads thanks to Photobucket. No way am I going to pay them a penny now that they pulled the plug with no prior warning.
Happened to a lot of us and many "build" threads are now lost forever. Here are my two firstly 1977 Carrera 3.0
And 1992 964 RS

Green one bought from Leeds last year by any chance?
I bought it from Williams Crawford down in Cornwall this year, actually – it’s the one that featured in Classic Porsche and 911 & Porsche World magazines an issue or two back. I had toyed for a while with the idea of “doing a Chris Harris” with a bespoke viper green retro build and then came across this one which the previous owner had kindly had built for me over a number of years! The ’73 base car had been sourced from Autofarm, with project work then undertaken initially by RS 911 and Unit 11, and more latterly by Tuthill. Not a purist’s car by any stretch, but the combination of the 340bhp 964 engine, G50 gearbox, RSR bodywork, Fuchs 9s and 11s, exe-tc shocks, seam-welded shell, re-trimmed interior, host of other details and general quality of the work make what for me at least is a pretty neat combination of looks, feel and “full on” weekend driving fun!Matisse said:

Cool just on with a none purist build here. Hoping to be complete in the next couple of months. I thought the article was excellent. With the car being the ultimate bitsa (no offence - it's a superb car), the article referred to the "period correct brass breather holes" in the seats - as if it mattered! Where would the old Porsche journos (no offence KS) be without the words 'period correct'?
