964 Coffee Break
Discussion
Here's a couple of pictures of my wife's 964 Targa that we have up for sale
Will be sad to see it go but with our new dog we don't think we will be using it that much as our weekends are being spent walking him rather than enjoying the car. I know some people will say get rid of the dog but he has become part of the family. I suppose it makes a difference from "new baby" forces sale.
Some more pictures on the Pistonheads ad:

Certainly was, a big end bearing had failed - for no good reason anyone can suggest as it's a low mileage car. Its currently with Russell Lewis enjoying a rebuild.
SS7
Expensive indeed but as one of many that's had a full rebuild on theirs, I can say that a re-freshed engine is a joy to use on these cars. SS7
Mine the year I got it (2008). I didn't do the whole season but had to go to Spa
I got my first ever outright win there, in dreadful rain.
The flags above the podium were raised by an old bloke winding them up with a little winding wheel - it always amused to watch the F1 podium presentations to think that's how they were raised - like something out of a Monty Python sketch, or the Not The Nine O C Clock News' New Scotland Yard sign
The car's had a LOT of work done since I sold it 3 years ago, but has been hardly used (due to a health issue) and is currently up for sale. Now road legal, with a fresh engine, it's the perfect weapon for track days or Euro-hooning.

Sounds good - have any of them actually been in touch with the owner/seller? He tells me he's just a had a few timewasters and I'm not sure if any of them viewed & drove the car.
Only heard from them yesterday (asking me what I knew about it), so don't think they have been in contact yet. If it doesn't sell by March, it might be a good idea for him to show it off on the RS day. boxsey said:

I'll mention it - I'm booked all morning but could demonstrate it on track to potential buyers in the afternoon. That would probably do the trick ;-)
