I'm just back from a 700mile trip with the boys spanking all manner of Pork... air and water cooled.

RS CS replica, full welded cage, M003 body, seam welds etc. Will take some time but should be fun.

Nice... but do me one favour.. PLEASE do it properly and take the sunroof out. I've seen so many "no expense spared" RS recreations and they all still have the fekin sunroof.. WHY?

:confession: I've been slowly gathering RS bits for when the times right to do mine...

oh, yes, sunroof will be gone

having no roof temporarily makes it a damm site cheaper to weld in and paint the cage as well

Cool ! Will have my M002 bodykit for sale at some point

Its quite surprising how capable they are once suspension is all RS. I think mine might have as much mechanical grip as my GT3. Certainly feels as planted. just amazing to drive hard (albeit a little heavy footed and clumsy when you're not on it).

Yeah get rid of that sunroof.

Its not like previous versions of an RS could be speced with one.

Oh, hang on a minute....... smile

Glorious in the peak this evening, it would have been rude not to!

I must try and use it a little more.

Spanked it for across Europe last weekend, around 750 miles taking in France, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg , it's exactly what these cars were made for :-)
