Lots of potential and options..... The hard work certainly seems like it's been done.

I like the styling of an ST. Would be tempted to go the restomod route...would get pricey quite!

Rac/rally spec car without the need to get all the trim bits might offer the best route to get it up and running for less expenditure (although plenty of options for going crazy there too).

Really curious to see how much this goes for....

seems cheap...and slightly odd that he'd be selling it "as is"

If I wasn't buying a house I'd be all over this. It pains me I can't go for it at the minute lol.

It's a hard one to call. Would be perfect for someone with a recently-badly-crashed race or rally car, but there may not be such a person looking just now, although LHD is definitely a plus for widening such a market. To someone like that it should be worth £15k-£20k or more *IF* it's been prep'd to a standard they're happy with.

As an aside, I'd be amazed if it didn't need some attention to the paintwork here & there after so long in storage, but that probably only applies if making it into a road car (stickers & decals can hide a multitude of sins wink ).

Seller ended it early, we will never know - unless someone pops up on here with it!

A friend of mine bought it, seems a good car, it's had welding to make it 'solid' but that needs undoing and redone ! Paint work is good if the bonnet mops up but with replacing sills and putting back to narrow body we might as well go back to bare metal again.

Thanks for the update. Should be a good project with a potentially great end result - keep us posted if you can.

I'll hand the thread over to my friend but I know he's going to leave the car for 4 weeks before he starts on it. Jason .
