I've been looking at this

http://www.roadandtrack.com/go/news/new-cars/photo...

.. would need to sell my standard 3.2 if I go for it as I'm running out of room !

It's around £63 grand - is it worth it ????????????????????

Opinions please

yes she's worth that day nightlong. To get weight down to 905kg requires a high level of skill and DP have a fantastic reputation. By far one of the nicest 3.2s around.

Not sure about the price, but by comparison my 3.2 Carrera race car, which is completely stripped of everything unnecessary and has plastic doors, bonnet, windows and bumpers, weighed in last weekend on Snetterton weighbridge at 1,030 kgs – so 905 kgs is amazingly slim…..

Looks stunning, though I suspect you would need to supply your 3.2 Carrera as the donor car ???

No that's the price of the car as it is for sale .......... I believe built as their demonstrator

I can see why it's got an expensive price tag because a lot of time and money has gone into making sure it's right and light.

However the market for a very expensive, very focused modified 3.2 Carrera is small.

Honestly buy that whilst you can. Can't be a more sorted 3.2 than that available. Just lovely.

Agreed. on that basis it looks pretty good value. Some of the trimming looks less than brilliant (leather on dash edge, seat harness cut-outs, and the striped cloth looks a bit "baggy"), but all could be rectified and don't detract too seriously. Take off the decals and that is a lovely little car.
