Folks - I am rebuilding my 911 and looking at options to fit my (now 14 month olds) twins in.

Is it possible and what do I need to think about belts etc.

It should have the captive nuts underneath the carpet to enable you to fit lap belts. More tricky to fit 3 pointers..I can't recall whether the rear parcel 'shelf' (steel bulkhead) I has the strengthening plates that later cars had. If not, you can still have plates made up. Don't fit belts without them though.

I had plates and captive nuts welded on my 77. The standard lap belts will hold a child seat very securely though when threaded through the base.

Issue for me in the end was the proximity of the childs head to the rear window when sat in a seat, even with the seat base removed.
