Gents (& ladies where applicable)

I was wondering if anyonw could point me in the direction of companies that specialise in backdating cars, in particular, making an RSR.
I've found one or two but thought there must be a few out there that I cant find or even someone with experince and recommendations

Cheers Dale
Has anyone used 911-retro-works.co.uk

Nice blue! Is it a trick of the light but the door looks a different color or shininess or something.

I must admit I noticed that too and am hoping it was a trick of the light. I have not seen the car in the flesh yet as it will be moving to the new 911Rennsport showroom in a week, when I intend to have a look for myself. Oh god got me worried now frown

I did a Photohop colour picker test and the colour readings are close enough to be regarded as the same for door and body, therefore its probably being caused by the camera phone imager and reflections on the door IMO.

Looking at the second photo is does look like a darker background in the reflection.

I would say there was nothing to worry about

The door will not be closed properly and a slight angle from being flush with the rest of the bodywork would cause that to look a different shade

Look forward to seeing the project progress!

I guess the colour shade is simply down to the currently poor panel gaps. Once they fit the trim and adjust the gaps I'd expect that all to be fine.

Did you make a conscious decision to retain the sunroof, out of interest?

To be honest I didn't give it too much thought either way.

Tbh they might've asked you about how 'real' you wanted it to be, I also recommend you find genuine Fuchs...there are replicas around....

Are you going full slide injection spec? Budget is healthy given the value of your GT3, so spend it on the right bits. Neil Bainbridge is a good contact for that.
