Would any of you chaps have any tuning bits for a 964? Adjustable top mounts, big reds, heigo cage, pole positions etc, etc....
If so, Please send me a PM.

Hi Steve,
I've got the front section of a Safety Devices cage, which actually came out of Andy B's old 964 Turbo. I only ever put the rear section into my old C2, so the front section has been gathering dust ever since.
I've been talking about it for a long time, but ultimately I'm returning my RS to factory spec, so I'll be taking the MoTeC management system off it - it's a complete plug and play system for a 964. The car will go up to Colin at 9m for the work. A year or so ago he had agreed to put cash back my way to take the MoTeC off and re-instate the Motronic. If there was a car there to put the MoTeC straight into, then I'm sure there would be a deal to be done.....
Unfortunately I've already sold my carbon bonnet and a spare set of Cup 1s. I'll have a rummage around the garage, but I don't think I've got much left.
Let me know if any of this might be of interest.

cheers,

Jamie

Thanks Jamie. To be honest, I'm only looking for a rear cage section but if you have anything else, please let me know

To be honest, the joy of the 964 is that you just bolt stuff on so the thread would be a bit boring i think!

I'll have a look and see what's hiding in the garage. No interest in the MoTeC ?

I went for 993 calipers all round. The front ones are essentially the same as the 964RS. They take the same size pad as the RS and use the same caliper adapters that you would use for big reds but use slightly smaller discs (304 x 32 rather than 322 x 32). You'll need the 928 S4 discs rather than the 993 discs as the 993 discs have the wrong offset for a 964. The 993C2 rear calipers bolt directly onto standard rear 964 discs.

Here's some 993 front calipers on ebay:

Here's some 993C2 rears:

Can you not buy just the front 993 caliber sand then use the spare 964 fronts on the rear?

While the fronts will indeed bolt direct to the rear the pistons are too big and will give you too much rear bias.

Thanks for taking the time to find these chaps for me Old Boy, but would prefer big reds as I will probably be Rogering the brakes senseless during track adventures. Drove a nice one at Silverstone a few weeks back with a well set up brake/diff package. Bit of a revelation I must say
