I think it will sell fairly easily. Good condition, trendy and many peoples dream car. Spend £100k now and in a few years get £100k back for it, why not. Man maths suggests its a great move compared to a modern car where you spend 100k and get 50/60k back in a few years.

Glass out respray at RPM tecnik last year. It's currently in perfect, perfect condition. No idea what it's worth though. Any thoughts?

If suspension, interior etc etc are up together as well, I'd say 30-35k. .............. Mileage is immaterial to an enthusiast if the history file stacks up, in these days of big money low mileage 'investor' cars.

Definitely looks like I was wrong re big reds requiring 18's. Definitely on the look out for some 17's to run on my 64 with 40-45 profile tyres. Will make the car much more compliant on the road. Not so sure. My C2 has been up for sale at £34K for a while now and had no real interest. Despite the huge money lavished on maintaining and improving it, I think it's the miles on the clock that puts people off. They must all be looking for investment cars rather than ones to drive.If suspension, interior etc etc are up together as well, I'd say 30-35k. .............. I don't disagree with much of what you say. I think the low miler garage queens have skewed the market so that everyone thinks their 964 is worth £40K+. Yet the ever increasing number in the classifieds indicates that they're not selling. Hence why I mentioned my own experience of pitching a well maintained, honest high miler well below the top asking prices had attracted little interest. So, with signs of the soggy winter ending I think it's time to bring it out of hibernation, orders some new track tyres and make some bookings.

Boxsy .. think the problem with your car is the mention of needing attention to bodywork . This automatically is going to put people off. Also these days a cage amd trackseats are not the draw they used to be when they were £15K trackcars. I reckon if you fitted some stock seats and returned the interior more towards full stock etc you'd have a better response

Thanks mate, I had considered that and it's got all the stuff to put it back to a standard interior. It says that in the ad. I think it would be shame to make it normal again and it would never make a concours car. However, the ad doesn't say the bodywork needs attention - I've just given a fair appraisal of what has been done and what someone might want to do in the future. Especially since folk seem to be keen on having full makeovers done on these cars. I won't post a link but it's easy to find in the ads section of 911UK.com
