993 C2 manual Coupe - Values?

Haven't posted here for a while, so will expect some controversy on my subject matter.
I have a 993 manual C2 Coupe, and am thinking of selling.
There appear to be very few of this variant around, with some wildly varying prices.
The question is, what's the starting price.
For the record, Polar Silver, Metropole interior, 100k miles. great condition.

When you see dealers selling tiptronic coupes for £58k,targas,convertibles etc in the high 30's,low 40,s I think your manual coupe in great colour is worth at least £40k. So few for sale. I read in total911 that a dealer could see the day when manuals were worth double a tiptronic. There will be plenty along to say its not worth £40 but I think you have very desirable product!
In today's market you should probably ask £40-50k (depending on condition) as it's supply and demand.
There aren't many available and a manual c2 coupe is probably the best driving 993 this side of a 993 RS.
You'd need to make sure it's in top condition, serviced, aligned etc if you're asking for top money.

Likewise I'm not selling so immaterial to me really.
Seems like the 993 is deservedly catching up with other classics.
People are still very sniffy about mileage on the 993 with 100k being the sticking point for many. Not sure why but it does seem to be the case. I took mine to the Baston show a couple of weeks ago and spent about 2 hours chatting to a chap who had been looking for one for about 6 months, he said he would only consider cars with sub 60k miles.
If your car was a sub 100k car I think you could expect it to achieve low to mid £40k's, if it's only just crept over 100k that may still apply. However I suspect high £30k's will be the final selling price at the moment.
But as they say you can always come down in price to do a deal but you can't go up. If it is in tip top condition with a well documented history I'd be inclined to give it a go at £45k ish and see what interest you get.

When I was looking for a 993 in 2007 there were plenty to look at. I nearly bought a black Metalic 95 model in the Walderslade Kent area, but despite the owners reprated denials, it had been in a front end shunt and had been fitted with another right front wing and mirror, he wanted £16, but I walked.
So instead, I bought a 96 Griff 500 needing some tlc for £8,200 and absolutely loved it. I Stupidly sold it in April 2008 ( to a German called Dennis who worked in quality control for Porsche would you believe )
I then looked at a lovely, low miles silver ( yet another 993 in silver ) but was very very underwhelmed by it. It was just So slow after the Griff ) So from Cambridge via the 911 magazine I bought a Baltic Blue 88 G50 3.2 Careera ( an ex AFN car )! for £11,200 and I then spent over £1,000 on repairs and which a few weeks later started smoking / using oil ( top end rebuild ) the seller had me over big time with that car, so I outed it to a dealer for £10,400 ( thanks E Porsche, you Did me a huge favour ) and 2 years later I bought another Griff 500.
However the 3.2 is now probably circa £30,000 and the 993 even more!! The Griff despite only circa 1,100 survivors, is only worth circa £16,000 !
993s are now simply Crazy money, no way would I pay that for one.

Having owned my 993 c2s manual for 5 years now, i would say 3 things that people tend to overlook:

My car has 80k miles, but it does not matter.
Whether it is varioram, non varioram, 50k, 100k or 150k miles, these cars need money spent on it to keep them 100%.
At recent porsche gathering, my car put to shame cars with half the miles but only because i carefully spent £20k, time and effort over the past 3 years.
2 993 manual c2 with identical mileage could be worth £30k or £55k in my mind depending on how they have been treated in their life.

In seven years of ownership I've looked at 100's of 993's at meets and friends ones (you can generally tell the enthusiastic owned ones). We will often play the guessing game of mileage, look round a car then guess what you think it has, and it isn't always the low milers which are in the best condition, many having clear signs of rot in the classic places; screen apertures, front arches etc.
A classic example; I viewed a 45k miles (C2 manual VR) one identical to mine, it was as described i.e. a regularly serviced standard car, but other than servicing it had had no love whatsoever - a major oil leak evident on the undertray, one bald tyre, a dent on the roof where a large metal object had been dropped & despite a supposed recent AC service (which only ran warm) an old rag pushed up against the AC condenser in the wing! The (very well known Indy) dealer wanted 10k more than my car!
I won't be adding up the bills for my car that's for sure!

In answer to your (kind of) question, 17" cup wheels if specified from new were part of the sports lowering (MO33 springs) package so were extra, as was the AC & hard backs, sunroof was standard. So yours is well specced.
