our latest creation. we have done a few of these now as the singer look seems popular at the minute.
this is our best one yet in my opinion, it has a 993 rs engine from a belguim race car, g50 gearbox with short ratios and lsd, big brakes, coilovers, electric boot spoiler, and lots of other trick parts.
its also the oldest car we have converted as it started as a sc.
because of the work thats gone into the moulds its a in house only conversion every other panel we sell can be supplied to fit yourself.copy and paste this link to enlarged pictures http://1drv.ms/1VpO7QD

I just do the work, ill ask how much it was. I'm sure he spent 30k without the engine and gearbox as it was one of the most rotten we have seen from this era!needed taking back to a bare shell then the owner wanted everything new on the brakes suspension etc. Everything being powder coated chromed and painting the bare she'll costs a lot of money. The quilted leather under the bonnet and engine compartment are nice touches. In my opinion it'd more cost effective to start with as good a donor car as you can. You save in the long run then. We've got a sc to change to this shape that's been done to 2.7rs look in the last few years so all the welding etc has been done. Another one is a nice 964 and a 993. The 993 has to have the flitches lowered about 50 mm as the front edge of the bonnet and bumper front and rear are that much higher. Not a lot of work in the scheme of things once the panels are off. And again a even better donor car for brakes suspension engine transmission etc. About 3 months till we can start another I reckon.

No sir. I think that was a genuine singer? We are club autosport we do servicing/repairs and have a bodyshop but the biggest part of the business is lightweight panels from early short wheelbase stuff through to 997 rsr panels. We get a slating sometimes as my dad has been specialising in porsches since 1971 and doesn't suffer fools gladly or people trying it on. But we say come and see our work and have repeat customers from as far back as when the business started. A old fella said yesterday it was the 23rd year we had mot'd his 71 911 that we look after. Anyway enough of my ramblings!

The venues right mate! It was last Wednesday for gt purely porsche magazine. just before some lovely cars including some porkas came blasting through on the tour of brittania or whatever it's called now. I saw customer who has his panels for his car from porsche centre wilmslow who rallys a old 2.7rs looking car (think he's the md there). Don't know which one of us was more surprised on a Wednesday afternoon!

They look weird in some of my photos for some reason. A lot of my shots the car looked like I was using a panoramic shot for some reason or look like the bottom of the car is grey where the stickers aren't half as big as if they put a shadow on the lower half of the car?? Plus the guy wanted the springs quite soft so having a higher ride height makes the arch above the wheel look like it isn't a round shape. As you bring the height down the arch seems to fit the wheel better. Have to weight for the pros pics I think in real life they look near as damn it, the way they start up by the rear quarter window. but I would say that.
