Porsche 914-4. What are they like to drive?
Discussion
As above says, what are 914's like to drive? Not the 6 cylinder one, the 2.0 litre 4 cylinder I'm interested in. How would they compare to a 911SC for example? (I guess an SC is the only classic Porsche I've driven so...)
A good condition SC is now out of my price bracket as too is nearly all Porsche classics with exception of a 914, hence the question.
Thanks,
John

Thanks AW10. I guess all classics are prone to rust. I've heard there are mods you can do to tune them up a little power wise on the 2.0 litre model but I've no idea how costly it is. I certainly wouldn't be put off by the basic interior, in fact I think that's a bonus (less to go wrong).

My uneducated guess is that'll cost more than a mint conditioned low mileage SC or 3.2. Anyone ever get the price of it?JohnnyMac said:

I phoned them earlier this evening - $125,000 ! they said they have receipts on file for the work, which cost .............. $175,000 not including the purchase price of the car !! the guy who had it built did about 300 miles in it !!!sng45 said:
