Yesterday was a very exciting day. The culmination of a 5 year project in conjunction with the amazing Nick Fulljames of Redtek.

Lots to say about it, but it's a minimalist car with a 3.8 monster motor on PMO EFI. It's just awesome. Nick Fulljames is a genius.

Sorry for the lack of info. Been out driving!

The car is based on an 89 G50 3.2 that has been completely stripped and restored. It was inspired but the 76 911 Turbo prototype.

So it has 3.0RS front and rear bumpers, turbo arches and a lot of running gear from the turbo (rear arms, shocks, brakes). Sunroof gone, leccy windows gone (which is a bit of a pita!). Pretty bare interior with half cage, buckets, southbound light carpet set (sound deadening gone). Got the G50 box with LSD and then the engine. The engine is a rather special redtek 3.8 concoction running on PMO EFI with a Canems ECU. Got a delightful sounding Fabspeed exhaust with heat. We have no idea of BHP, but it'll be in the range 320-380. I'm guessing about 340/350. Weighs 1020kg.

Bert
PS the rather lairy red REDTEK has gone from the front now as not being very stealthy. Mind you, it's not really all that stealthy! The black sunstrip remains which I quite like.

Wonderful car. In my view, Nick is the best a/c 911 engine guy in the UK.
Doesn’t make exaggerated claims about wild BHP figures (which largely are irrelevant on the road anyway, it's torque that matters). I’ve met other engine builders who produce all sorts of impressive dyno printouts, but the driving experience rarely matches the pub-talk of the printout figures. In Nick’s case, you get no hype – but you will get a beautifully-crafted engine that will blow your socks off and, just as importantly, which will be very drivable and responsive.

Ahh my wonderful baby! We've done a few updates over the winter, such as full front cooler and now the excitement builds as we'll start the year off at oulton park.

Probably my only chance there this year as I'm not racing there this year. Let's hope the weather is as nice as last year!

And we've changed the stance a little bit. It was a bit too low. The front had to come up a bit as it was using the bump stops too much and the rear had to come up as well. We've also stiffened up the rear a bit with turbo torsion bars.

Can't wait!

Looks amazing, will Oulton be the RS day? If you're there and have a spare seat I would love a pax lap, I'll be on track in my guards GT4.
