Sorry, had my investors head on there. So it's a multi owner car with 60k plus miles with ruffled leather interior. £52,000 retail, £40,000 trade.
Don't get Rubystone to value your car laugh even with his "investors head on"

The buyer has requested privacy on the transaction, but lets just say we are both very happy.

Hmmm I disagree I believe that the valuation is not excessive, 3.3 turbos have strengthened in price considerably over the last year So why should not the price be achieved ? & who is to say in a further 2 years prices may hit £200k

It would be nice to see it sell for that.

It's a fantastic colour, but ifs lost in the advert pics!

I wonder how much Cwinn got for it?

In hindsight, the asking price was very reasonable. I should probably have bought it. The issue for me at the time was I couldn't get confirmation from Porsche Reading that they had carried out the exclusive changes. It came off the production line as a white car.

Now that really would be taking the piss.
The problem for me is if I had the cash I wouldn't want a 3.3 in the collection if I could afford a 3.6 and if I couldn't then I also wouldn't pay over £100k for a 3.3 as they just aren't that great to drive compared with other cars around the same money.

Having said that, one thing is for sure and that is you'll make a nice profit on your 3.3 if you do sell. Maybe I should never have sold mine.

How do you know it wasn't sold to a speculator who immediately put it up with Slades on SOR?

Cheers,
Bryn.

The best way to find out what a car is worth is to simply ask the trade for a bid. Then if you decide to sell it privately, add 25% to that price and you'd be at retail.

Or put it out to auction and see what they guide it at.

Maybe I missed it, but I'm guessing that by 'mint' it has less than 4 owners and below 40,000 miles on the clock?
Why add 25% to the gen public and give off money to the trade,He doesn't owe them any favours.Have a go private if you dont need the funds emediatly ,and pitch at what you are willing to accept once you have the car valued.I bet the greedy stealers will be banging on your door at whatever the price and they will just sit on the car with an unrealistic price as it is what they are all doing at the moment..

I think Roccos 3.3 is a £100k car in current market. That other colour change exclusive option in my opinion was circa £80k tops. Dealer putting it up for £130k daft but the whole markets daft at the mo. I was offered a 3.3 with low miles and low owners for £85k a few months ago. Didn't bother much to my regret but if you compare numbers to 3.6 whilst 95% of the car there's a massive disparity in production figures. I do see quite a few cars hanging about nowadays which isn't surprising. How could you buy a 3.3 instead of a 458? Just stupid if you look at it like that IMO.

agreed I paid around the same for my ruf CTR and thought that was enough, a 3.3t for 100+ is just daft imo

I agree with you guys how anyone can pay £70k for a 3.3t let alone £100/£130/150/200k for a 3.3t,but when comparing with a 3.6t its a bargin (is a 3.6t twice the car that the 3.3t is if so why did they use a 3.3t to build the turbo S ??

Yes was offered nr £70k firm for it but did not sell. Quite a few low mileage Carrera's have sold for that sort of money. Recently offered nr £80k for a very low miles 964 C2 - again we did not sell as difficult to replace. Not comparable to a turbo in my view though on many different levels. For a start I think the na air cooled cars are a much better drive. Never got on with my 84 911 turbo.
