Spoke to Slades to see what they would offer me for my 3.3t (used your ex car as a bargaining tool) Was surprised to find out that you car is on SOR and not sold as you said??
"Not sold as you said"

What a fool you are, I wast going to comment anymore about this but as you are calling me a liar I thought I get this off my chest,
When I put pictures of the car up you commented on the wheels not right for the car, yet when you bought your Turbo you went and put a set of silly 19" wheels on it and thought they looked great ?

Your car

The car is SOLD, and I got a lot more than you and others thought it was worth, so I'm happy wink

Not sure why Rocco being called fool? And for the record IMO those LMs look far better than the BBS you have on your old car. In fact his car looks like a minter from other pics I've seen of it. Yours doesn't to my eye so well done if it has sold for a lot of money - nice enough car mind but a 60k mile car will never be like a sub 30k mile car.

Then let me explain it, it was foolish to imply I was lying about selling the car, I have seen the car Rocco owns and its no better than the one I sold appart from the mileage so maybe Rocco will get 200k for is ?, the BBs look better IMO and as the car is sold couldn't really care anymore wink

Why do so many really interesting and passive threads degenerate so rapidly into gobste opinion spouting??? From the beginning I watched this with interest and actually had a go at buying the car from the seller who was perfectly polite. Now where are we???? Come on people, its just pub chat in most cases...

Cwin you have had your car for sale on and off for over 12 months
A friend of mine spoke to you last year and decided not to buy
My car came with the original wheels and i find them ugly looking and as a consequence i replaced them with 19" BBS,i still have the original cup type wheels and if and when i decide to sell my car they will be on
As for calling you a liar you need to calm down read the thred again Slades told me it was on SOR and just for the record your car was not a patch on mine if it was my friend would have made the purchase when you offered it to him for £50k

Yes was offered nr £70k firm for it but did not sell. Quite a few low mileage Carrera's have sold for that sort of money. Recently offered nr £80k for a very low miles 964 C2 - again we did not sell as difficult to replace. Not comparable to a turbo in my view though on many different levels. For a start I think the na air cooled cars are a much better drive. Never got on with my 84 911 turbo.
wow that was strong money you turned down lol

Have to agree with others - thats a lovely 3.3 you have - any more pics of the interior? On the 3.2 C and 964 C2 I suppose it depends on your criteria for valuing cars. Looks wise the turbos are very 935 esq so there is a lot of demand for them and quite rightly so (I'd love one). If you buy the cars to actually drive the normally aspirated cars are perfect for typical UK roads. Turbos need a v.skilled driver to get the best out of them. I'm pretty sure that on most give and take UK roads 95% of drivers would be better off without the turbo kicking in at 3500-4000 rpm! Perversely I think the difficulty in being able to drive a turbo actually adds to their desirability as many people want a car which is a challenge to drive. Me i prefer the normally aspirated air cooled cars but that doesn't stop me wanting an air-cooled turbo. Time will tell on values. There's a lot of rubbish out there and very difficult for most buyers to understand the difference between a good car and a bad car/potential money pit smile

Very nice - thanks. Can't tell from pics if yours is tan or beige. Your car does look almost concourse.

Rocco1, the car might be SOR but it doesnt mean its Cwins car anymore. Probably a chancer.

That car has the wrong exhaust, wheels and steering wheel though as well as other details...
