this is where we are to date....
930 used to have a Dage fiberglass flat nose front end, steel rear vented arches, big side sills and an enormous rear spoiler. All that has now been removed with a view to putting the back to factory.
New front inner and outer wings quarters and new rear outer quarters bought from Porsche. Trying to obtain rear inner quarters but i am informed they are no longer made.....i only need the bottom 6 inches so they will have to be fabricated. Once the car is a shell state on a dolly we can have a proper look the rear end to see whats what.
I will try to do a weekly image update for those who are interested.
On a separate note i strongly suspect i may need a hand sourcing some parts so any assistance along the way will be much appreciated.

Interesting stuff - what's the original colour and are you planning to revert to this ? Good luck smile

color X4=casablanca beige metallic, going totally stock on everything, as it would have come out of the factory.

RUINING my old car eekmadwink

It is going to be stunning, though personally I would have preferred it left "Dage'd" with loads and loads of horsepower.

Looking forward to seeing it finished, fond memories of this car! thumbup

That looks like the colour, the front indicators are slightly different on a UK car and mine has gold wheels but yes i agree it does look stunning. I don't recall ever seeing a 911 in that colour. The shade of gold was wrong on my car after having being repainted when the kit went on.

Sounds like you'll need to change the Fuchs colour anyway or it will be the wrong gold. Black will be better.

Whilst understanding the reasons behind reversion to factory original spec, this is one DS935 that is going to remain as is and wear it's slant nose with pride.

that looks great, i think the colour suits the conversion far better than the gold of mine.
Does it have any modifications? i have a set of headers, a big intercooler, cams and a big turbo i will be selling once i get up off the floor if you feel the urge to go quicker!!
