As I'm sure you are aware there is a lease deals thread in GG that is designed to promote all the best lease deals regardless of vehicle manufacturer, model, size shape etc. The problem with that thread is that you may not want something that is just cheap, but are looking for something brand specific or a specific model even. You maybe happy in the knowledge that you are paying more for this specific vehicle as its actually what you want and not just a cheap as chips run around that you know in the back of your head you never really wanted!

Hence the idea of this thread!

I have been offered the following cars which I think are good value, but wouldn't mind other people who maybe searching for the same model or have done previous deals on better models to chip in so I can work out if its a good deal or not.

1. 640d M Sport Gran Coupe 6+23 at £400p/m + VAT 12k p.a. Including the VAT and upfront payment this works out to be £580 p/m over the term

2. 520d M Sport Auto, 6+23 at £233p/m + VAT, 12k p.a. Including the VAT and upfront payment this works out to be £337 p/m over the term.

I have posted both these deals up on the lease thread in GG but haven't had any replies, the thread is swamped with waffle and cheap A4 deals atm (which admittedly are very cheap!), but ultimately not what I'm looking for. Hope I may have some more success in here!

Thanks :-)

That thread is geared toward hatchbacks and cheap saloons. It's aimed at the crowd who have a budget in mind and want anything that meets the budget.

"If I want car X and Y what are the cheapest deals?"
would be more relevant to me as well. You end up observing the thread waiting for something to come up and it rarely does. A BMW specific lease thread would definitely be handy. When I was looking for a lease, I only wanted a Jaguar XE or BMW 4GC but I didn't come across any deals.

In my search the best offer I had in December was: 335d X drive auto with metallic paint / 10k miles, fully maintained, delivered for £310 per month inc VAT and £1500 initial. In hindsight, it was frankly an amazing deal but I just didn't fancy the 3 series...My only regret was that the lead time was 2 weeks whereas the 4GC I'm waiting for is 16 weeks. I probably should've taken the deal because 16 weeks is taking the bloody wee

That sounds like a good deal, what was the payment profile on it? 6+23?

What are you looking for big fish? Coupe or GC? Miles per year? I've got a good friend at a dealership who is pretty much at the top. He'll give me prices without the BS. I asked him if we could do a PH deal for us all collectively but it's much more complicated than I thought and even more so after a few beers. He's eager to do something for us but is not allowed to advertise or promote via this source (lots of red tape involved).

PM me if you want me to find some prices out.

No need to bother checking PMs, they are meant to be sent to the email address your registered with, but they haven't been working for a while now...

420d Gran Coupe M Sport
Sports transmission with paddles
Rear heated seats
Metallic paint
£2600 initial
£308/month for 23 months

Via central vehicle leasing. I don't think it's a fantastic deal because in January I was offered the same spec for £400-500 less overall by Select Contracts. I'd already signed in mid December though.

You won't get anything close to that deal anymore. There were a small number of stock vehicles they wanted to shift. I can't remember the profile. I tend to give an initial sum and negotiate around that.

Doh - ideally a 440i Grand Coupe, 8k miles per year, either 2 or 3 year lease. Maybe even a PCP if residuals strong....many thanks :-)
