Recently relocated back to the UK after 12 years abroad.

Our shipping is turning up in a few weeks and will be delivered and unpacked at our new place.

What's the going rate for tipping nowadays? We've been in a place where labour has been cheap as chappatis so I have no idea.

It shouldn't take any more the one day.

Cheers in advance.

It's a load of bks. They're getting paid to do a job. Unless you ask them to go that extra mile, then maybe reward then.

I guess it depends if you are happy!

I recently moved and got the company who gave me the best price but also I though would do the job properly and they worked really hard although Im worked with them - Im not the stand around with my hands in my pockets type.

I dont think they expected anything but there were 3 chaps and I gave them a 10er each and I think they appreciated it, probably more the gesture than the amount. Im sure others on here would tip more maybe, no idea, Im not rich and it wasnt a huge job, no loft, no garage etc

Tea/coffee, biscuits, cakes, sandwiches, crisps all day & maybe a case of beer to share at the end.

Cheers chaps.

Tea and coffee will be a pain unless they unpack the kettle, mugs and teaspoons first.
