I know this subject comes up frequently. Has anyone tried this option?

Ideally all I want is to stream via Bluetooth, I would prefer if the single DIN was not changed. Has anyone found a better option.

I already have a FM transmitter solution. It works OK in the UK, but less well in France where I live and is completely useless in Spain where I spend the winter.

I think the problem is mainly caused by seemingly national commercial radio stations broadcasting locally to maximise advertising potential. In Spain it is almost impossible to find a point on the spectrum that will not be interrupted a few Km down the road.

Constantly retuning while driving solo is somewhat hazardous / tedious.

Has anyone used the Mobridge? I would prefer to keep the original CDR 24 for its looks.

Mobridge and Dension are good solutions, but with the CDR24 you will have to use your iPod or iPhone to control the track selection unless you just leave it on random all the time.

As long as you are happy with that, it might actually be better than it is with the PCM2.1. I used that combination and the control was awful, and I had the iPod mounted in the front boot.

Sorry to resurrect this topic.

Has anyone actually done a connection to a CDR24 head unit? If so what were the Denison or Mobridge part numbers. Having asked suppliers, I seem to be drawing a blank.

I want to connect a non-Apple phone via Bluetooth for music streaming with Amazon Music App.I can live with only being able to control the choice via the phone.

Thanks for any advice.

I am not sure if this link will work, but if not go to the product selector:

http://www.dension.com/automotive/compatible-produ...

The product I had was the GW51MO2 and this did exactly what you need, BUT it needs a separate Bluetooth module which I now can't see listed on the site! It might be available second hand?

The later model (black casing) has Bluetooth built in to the main unit, but this isn't compatible with your head unit.

As it mentions on the site, you either need to have the CD changer installed or at least the CD changer option switched on the head unit for this to be recognised.

Good luck with it.

Thanks for your suggestion.

After some prompting Cartronic eventually came up with that Enison, coupled with a JL Audio MBT-RX Bluetooth receiver and the AUX box option for both bits. Looks like a probable solution.

Hopefully Hartech can fit it and program the auto changer select option.

Sounds like the best option if you want to keep the CDR24 in situ.

I think that you will actually have a better experience than I did with the PCM 2.1. The reason I changed from the Dension is that the PCM control was so cumbersome, especially when using a large library. As you are using the phone as the control, you shouldn't have that problem.
