Similar to the Riviera Blue RHD 993 RSCS with AC that RPM recently sold. A large farmer friend was going to buy it and got Lancaster to chop the side bars down to ease access, he didn't subsequently complete on the car, and another friend bought it with the modded cage.
The black one had the door bar removed. Has been re fitted since and sold again a few years ago. The bouncers car.

Didn't the car end up with Gmund after the owner died and there was then a battle over ownership ?

I am a long term forum lurker too and a very occasional poster. In case anyone in the thread resurrection is interested I still have the Midnight Blue RHD 993 RS that I bought from OPC Swindon in 2004 after some helpful pre-purchase advice from Bergmeister (thanks Paul!). It is the ex-Max Beaverbrook/BVB Motorsport car. Having retired from work at the end of last year the car will be getting used more now that I have some free time. Car will be on track at the PCGB pre-98 track day at Goodwood in June. I would upload a photo of the car if I knew how but I don't!

A LHD 993 RS in Speed Yellow (Comfort model) was my "realistic dream car" 20 years ago, long before the ship saiiled price-wise. Piers had just the very car of my dreams (thats my black 964 in the background):
Another guy ("Rocket" on Rennlist, forgot his name, only met once) had a lovely red CS, alas forget the details of that one.
And then, being in this GT2 at Goodwood still brings back memories (I think the owner also had a yellow RS as a second car):

1st of January 2002 when I flew to Aachen to inspect it. One owner 21,500 klms. Man we had some fun back then, wonder how Victor is doing these days anyone in touch?
