I think the comfort thing comes from the name of the optional reclining seats that could be fitted - they are officially called "Sport Comfort" seats...

as previously suggested, most cars with these seats also have a/c, elec windows etc.

... hence the idea of a "Comfort" model

I will bow to your greater knowledge but the yellow car I went out in certainly had the perspex rear window, a color-coded roll bar and bucket seats, no A/C or electric windows, an exposed 90ltr fueltank, front strut brace so I made the assumption that it was full clubsport spec.

[sorry for the hijack!]

I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to Vic and Tim.

Was the roll bar a half cage or full cage?

Compared to the RScs the std RS could well be described as a "comfort" model

At least 2 good'uns I know of

Clubsport has a full welded Matter cage, if you can see a gap between
the door piller/cage then its not a CS, although these cages were often
fitted to RS's, RS's can look like a CS, but not the other way round

Nothing wrong with being fussy,,,,these cars are rare and good one are becoming harder to find, it makes sense to work out your priorities on a car as it may take a very long time to tick all your boxes at a price you are happy with....I never thought I would end up buying a yellow one!

Congrats Paul, I didn't know you'd bought again. Great car....great colour! Not wishing to hijack thread but have you got anymore pics?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the heads up - but I heard from a reliable source that this car had been a serious accident and was almost written off! Obviously I cannot verify this, but I would urge anyone interested to investigate this thoroughly.

Last time I saw the GT2 was at Bedford (cough), but I believe you have sold it now? What are you driving now?
