I've been dreaming a little lately and see that F430s are around £65k now which is an interesting prospect

In true Ph style would those in the know give a little overview of these cars and the ownership experience please

My main query is, are these cars fragile or are they reliable enough to enjoy regular driving?

Is the depreciation curve pretty flat on these now or will it lose significantly if I sold after say one year ?

You need to search old threads - loads discussed about this in the past. In summary, not fragile, yes you can drive them and no they probably won't lose much if anything at all.

If you could include me as well that would be much appreciated. Looking for a coupe but still unsure whether I should go manual or F1 box. And also looking at Gallardos ...

when I was looking I was told watch out for the Manafolds cracking and the front sus/wishbone bushs's or some thing failing faster than normal
also get a clutch wear print out for life left.

bar that was told to go for a 2008 model or later but then these are over 80k

still tempted myself bar the trade prices vs retail prices so if you need to sell goodbye 15k it seems as who buys these private with no warranty. not many people I would say, which leaves you selling it back to a dealer.

3 years and 16,00 miles later i'm still loving mine.
I've done several track days (shhh, not supposed to mention them) Le Mans, Monza, Paris and has never let me down.
Do it, you really won't regret it.
It is an "occasion" every time i get in and fire her up. The public love it, kids and old men wave and smile. You'll be engaged in conversation almost every time you fill up with fuel, and you'll wonder why you didn't buy it sooner.

Any chance you could send this through to me too? I'm in the same position, doing lots of research and seriously looking to take the F430 plunge although it'll be a spider for me. Not sure whether to go for manual or F1 though... Thanks!!

Nice as black is I don't fancy it tbh, don't ask me why, just does not do it for me.....but a red or grey one will

If you don't mind please send to me also.

Looking for a black/black F430 F1 Spider with race seats, CCB, low mileage (sub 10k) - if anyone knows of one?

I have a feeling I may be looking for a while... :-(
