A poverty spec Speciale can be done with no issues, however they will try and steer you in to ordering more options,it's just the nature of the game.
Wasn't actually after a 'poverty spec' Speciale as you call it, I just wanted to order the car in the spec I wanted.Anyhow after some negotiation car ordered with almost the spec I wanted, I gave in a little ( guess that makes me a pussy) and ended up @ £226 August / September delivery.

Do you have specific information to back that up?I was categorically told for a pre shutdown car, ie May/June, they were looking for higher optioned cars.

Separately HTF do you spec this thing? I mean the HR Owen scheme is way too "loud" for me, I've the F40 so don't want red and the 599 GTO is lovely in Ferro. Any suggestions please for something exciting and classy?

Rosso Fuoco is a superb choice, chap had his 599 GTO in that colour when I picked up mine. Looked great. TDF is a lovely idea; would you keep wheels standard and interior charcoal? Very grateful for your input.
Standard wheels yes as I think black wheels don't look right. Interior on my car is black with red stitching and horses. For a TDF car I'd be tempted with black/tan contrast?AndrewD said:

Blue TDF, no stripe, silver wheels, tan interior.
There's a CS in similar spec and it looks sensational.

You have to have the stripe, especially if the wrong side of 30
I toyed with black roof, no stripe, but in the end after studying photos of so many cars, decided it had to be the stripe
Andrew, is your car a keeper? i am speccing mine in 2 weeks and not sure whether to have Nart or the other stripes. Much prefer 360 CS's without a stripe and dont want to think in a few years i would prefer without. My car will be a keeper.I toyed with black roof, no stripe, but in the end after studying photos of so many cars, decided it had to be the stripe
BTW its Barry from the old BAT track days! :-)

All well I hope? How's the little 'un's karting?
Is my car a keeper? Probably not, I keep saying the next car is but then I end up selling it. But maybe this time...
The nart stripe has grown on me, I didn't like it much at first. But, just look at it

Yes good days, remember being with Jonny at Dijon and discussing scuds (you was into Lambos then and had a Spyder, before your SV) Jonny said forget scuds and get an F40 for the same price - if only i would have listened!!All well I hope? How's the little 'un's karting?

All is good, looking forward to the Speciale and trawl Autogspot most nights for the best spec. Opted for a Jan build 2015 to enjoy next year (991 GT3 is this years toy, when it eventually comes).
Lewis is into karting in a big way and does it most weekends all over the country, very time consuming and a large financial commitment to be competitive .
Hope the family is well?
