That's if I'm ever in the position too.

Being told by my dealer about a special blue called "Electricato". He's trying to find a pic, says it's great. I'm impatient and Googled it but no success. Anyone know of it please?

Done.

Taking the plunge, deposit paid, order signed, been given a brilliantly early build slot pre August and will spec based on AndrewD's helpful advice......TDF blue, white stripe, standard colour alloys, carbon everywhere, black calipers, carbon wheel centre and charcoal/nero interior. No coloured stitching, silver/grey Cavallino Rampante. White rev counter.

Plus other stuff including front lifter to bring price up to required level. Cheers.
requited level? so it wasn't a myth?
Most certainly not. In reality most of the options one would reasonably have quickly adds up to the required amount. And my dealer was sensitive in the way they handled the "requirement". They then sorted an amazingly early build slot so I'm happy.
So you ordered a car in May and have been given an August build slot with delivery in what October presumably? Are they really arriving that quickly?? I ordered my Scud in April 07 just after they were announced at Geneva and it didn't arrive till Christmas 08. Things have really changed......

Nope. Paid the deposit last week, spec'd the car this morning, build slot is July, hopefully delivered in July (factory is closed August). The dealer had the slot already for a demo so offered it to me when I first called them 10 days ago. Lucky timing I guess.

Thanks, much appreciated. Agonised over many blues including Nart, Swaters, Sera even RR Peacock and Aston Mendip, but couldn't better TDF. Credit for TDF has to go AndrewD to be honest.

The blue between the bold white stripes will be TDF not Nart. White stripes to finish at bonnet vents. Thought about black wheels but standard colour more relaxed on the eye. Defo black calipers, felt yellow distracted from whole.

Carbon side wings, carbon wheel centres, carbon front and rear diffusers. Put front lift on.

Interior will be charcoal alcantara everywhere inc roof lining except black alcantara on top of dash and black techno seat fabric with blue horizontal stripes if factory can do (being checked). Defo no colour stitching, there was a Speciale waiting for its new owner out back at the dealer and its grey stitching heavily reflected onto winderscreen in the sun.

Looked stunning on dealer configuator, now the bloody waiting begins.

I initially ordered mine last October with a promise of a May/June slot. Come January this suddenly slipped to October. I could never get them to confirm where I was on the waiting list. Luckily I could get the deposit back so cancelled the order and reordered at another dealer in February. They were more open told me where I was on the list and could have got me a car for the same time in October but have decided to wait for a March delivery so I can get the new 15 plate and get one of the last cars.
I would have not been using it over the winter so was pointless having it sat in the garage for 6 months depriciating.
It does appear that the waiting list depends on who you are and how many extras you are ordering!

Cheers. First video of a TDF Speciale that I've seen so kudos; looks lovely, and very happy to have gone white nart stripe black calipers and carbon centres for mine.
