Reading the thread again it looks like a problem with the system rather than a voltage issue.

It was frustrating when I was fault finding as the wheel encoders are sealed units, sealed into the hub so you cannot inspect or clean them.

One final piece of advice I was given is to check the connections on the ABS module. It is located behind the panel at the back of the front boot (the one that runs under the scuttle). There is a membrane behind the panel that you need to go through so try not to destroy it. Ideally you should replace it but it is about £40.
The ABS pump is on the RHS as you look at it. There is a big multi-connector on top that all of the wheels etc connect to the unit through. You slide the lock and it lifts up. Try exercising it a few times and inspect the contacts. Maybe try some contact cleaner although I'm not personally a fan of it. I used the pin out drawing to bell out each wheel sensor looking for poor connections but they were all fairly close.
