F430 air filter upgrade

Guys

Just wondeirng if anyone has any experience of upgrading the air filter on their car?

I have an F430 (with Tubi exhaust) and was considering changing the air filters, but wondered what kind of difference if anything they made? I note that Eurospares offer Tubi ones, whilst Fabspeed offer BMC.

Is it worth the modest cost to change? Is there any improvements to the driveability of the car?

You will gain a couple of BHP on an engine pushing out 485. Most of these aftermarket filters require cleaning and oiling. If they are over-oiled then the MAF can get contaminated.

For me, the risk-reward ratio doesn't stack up.
