It will be interesting what happens when the Speciale has been around for a few years and prices drop sub 200k. Given the choice of a Scud and a Speciale it'd be a no brainer for me and that's a Sp all the way. I can see the market place being slowly saturated with super cars what with Ferrari, McClaren, Lamborghini and Porsche to a degree all producing very good cars. That cant be good for retained values for anything but the very limited edition runs.
Agreed, but it will be far lees than ' a few years' . Too many made IMO, new model shortly and new money/fickle will move into that. I for one, think the SP is stunning, but at well over double the price of my GT3, which is actually appreciating, and then the awful F Car depreciation and mileage sensitivity etc.....no thanks.
I agree with all of that absolutely and no doubt I'll end up with another GT3 one day but its a fact for me anyway that Porsches while as good they are don't feel as special as any Ferrari even I know that they are! That said I haven't driven the new Gt3 yet.

Not quick as 75 miles on clock, wet and greasy...don't miss the stick one iota, phenomenal...£30k under priced IMO.

Really? I know the asking price reached £200k but where's the evidence that any actually sold at that price?
Well I'm not sure what evidence I can offer to satisfy you but that was not really the main point of my post.
I can only go by what I saw and heard when I was thinking about chopping my Scud in for something else a few months ago.

Maybe if I rephrase what I said that ASKING prices seem to have retreated a bit, and with a wider spread than just a few months ago.

Is that recent then ? Were they just showing signs of being in stock for a while because when I looked at the scud back in July ? it was one of the better ones I had seen ( I saw some real rough ones with road rash, chipped windscreens, milky carbon, swirly paintwork, kerbed alloys etc ... )but ended up being my 3rd choice.

Interesting, that seems to be the only Red RHD CS currently on sale too.

Swirly paint is one thing but a damaged diffuser is another.
