Not much in it now between importing and buying from the UK. It's pro worth paying a bit more to save the aggravation. Looks like a lovely car too!
I viewed that car and had a rather disappointing experience with the dealer himself. For more info on the car I am happy to discuss via PM.Rocco1 said:

Not surprising when you consider how many LHD Scuds are on the market I just had a bit of a scan through the Scuderias for sale, I know there's always a spread between LHD & RHD but it seems a bit excessive on Scuds?
Even though CS's are even rarer in RHD form, I don't remember the LHD/RHD asking price difference being so marked when I've looked at them (regularly) in the past - or anything else for that matter?

So what you are saying is that RHD's are hugely overpriced! Even though CS's are even rarer in RHD form, I don't remember the LHD/RHD asking price difference being so marked when I've looked at them (regularly) in the past - or anything else for that matter?
Ok... To me I think it's just indicative of LHD just not really having a benchmark value. The spread is as wide as the spec and mileage of the cars for sale. Throw in a fire sale and a slow time of year and it's quite a tough one to call in terms of where prices should sit. Maybe next year things could settle down...
The spread on RHD is also quite wide but it does seem to support some really punchy prices so things looking good here...
At the end of the day I look at cars first and foremost as thier makers intended and when you come to cash in and are net flat or even up - it's a Brucey bonus. If you can accept what comes with LHD in the UK then getting in to something like a Scuderia at these prices is a brilliant opportunity for any petrol head!

16 for sale on PH, and one has just had nearly £20k knocked off!, what is going on?
RHD Scud market seems to suggest otherwise http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...

Low mileage cars do seem to carry a sizeable premium, presumably because they primarily appeal to collectors or investors.http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...
The gap to LHD so called low mileage serviced cars from Europe does concern me a little as they are cracking value for money.
If it was mainly a track day car you wanted LHD would have to be the way to go and I also think there is more price upsell potential with these.
£200k + may be a sticking point even for the best of RHD cars like yours Rocco.
Still probably one of the safest places to have your money tied up in a car for the moment

Did you trade your Scud in for the 650s The gap to LHD so called low mileage serviced cars from Europe does concern me a little as they are cracking value for money.

Brand new 650S spider arrives Thursday. Awesome car, never thought I would buy anything other than a Ferrari but was totally blown away with it. So much so I chose it over 458 Speciale and 458 spiderHedge bet SOR on Scud for the moment trying to get best of both worlds.
Don't want to sell it but not using it and at the end of the day if the money is right you have to cash in at some stage and rental properties are giving me a good return at moment.
Hang in there you will get top money, whatever that might be ???

Oh here we go... You're gonna put me off the 650s for life within a month.Hedge bet SOR on Scud for the moment trying to get best of both worlds.

Nice alternative but destined to be a shirt loser as good as it is, I'd hang on to the Scud!
All depends why he bought it...Investment - Definitely hold the Scud.
To drive - Either really but I would say the 650 does look pretty epic
Good luck to you GRB, be good to hear your thoughts on the car (just try not to over egg the Clarkson style " The 650s is now the best car in the worrrld" commentary)

Nope not even going to mention it. This car is strictly for those in the know and as far as I'm concerned the less of you guys that own one the better for me :
Worse car in the world IMHO, please don't buy one !

Pretty much every new supercar loses money, 458 Speciale will be no different. 458 Speciale A Spider is the car to have but as much as I tried it wasn't happeningFar from losing my shirt I predict a few buttons at worse. This is not the same car or proposition as the MP4 12C when launched, which was a "development" car that McLaren mistakenly rushed to market. The final 12C product was incredibly good but probably tarnished by what went on before.
The 650S is spot on from the outset and with low volumes compared to 458 personally I don't see a big residual value issue over 3 - 5 years which is the minimum I intend to keep this particular car. Its a car I intend to use a lot more and not worry about it, at least that way you feel you have had some value for money
