How on earth is this a low spec car?!?! The only thing it is missing are the cf bucket seats. It is the cf interior, sports exhaust, front lifter, iris2 and reversing camera (which is useless) and smatterings of exterior carbon. Dealer accrued inventory......again as i had said previously. Seriously i am gobsmacked how Mclaren have not cut down on this kind of thing.
Well, handily I have the price list to hand and I'm afraid it doesn't have the exterior carbon pack or carbon tuning vanes or carbon mirrors at £241k , the devil is in the detail.
Like I say its probably less important on a dark car particularly black as its less noticeable as you have suitably displayed.
Not a big issue in itself because as you say it has most of the essentials.
People speccing £70k of options will lose most of that straight away

Show me a dealer that doesn't have stock cars they need to move on

You don't find stock speciales that need to be shifted do you....? And in the first probably 2 years of the 458T, you will likely hardly find any of those either. If it was late in the lifecycle of the 12c, ok fair enough, that happened to late 458s as well but hardly a year since the 650 was announced, as a widely touted major facelift to the 12c...?

Anyway, i was more taking issue with that car being called 'low spec' when it clearly isn't albeit it is not stupidly specced with every imaginable cf option.

As ever, just at higher levels. Meridien are also sellers at £180k & £200k so its obvious they will not buy a 20k miles car at £200k!

Limited amount of RHD cars for sale so dealers have the upper hand and manipulate the prices.
In reality they just think of a number and add a nought on and see if there is anyone daft enough out there to pay the silly asking prices.
Can't blame them for trying it on but just make sure your not the one paying through the nose.

Its taken 3 months but my realistically priced mint 15,000 mile rosso scuderia 430 Scuderia has finally sold, pretty much to the first serious enquiry.
Lets just say £200k asking prices and real transaction prices are a long way apart.
As much as I love the Scuderia there are some serious newer cars available around the £200k mark

For me the differential to and availability of good low mileage LHD examples was a major concern.
It has grown so much I'm now tempted to buy a RHD F355GTB and a LHD Scud for track days and euro hoons

I agree, they become more collectable by the day and will always carry a heavy premium over the "run of the mill" used cars but as the price continues to go up the number of buyers also seriously drops.

Its knowing what is the optimal price. Challenge Stradale sales have stagnated at the £200k mark and Speciale prices have dropped off a premium and are fairly plentiful now so its a very interesting market place which has already seen a lot of appreciation. That said the Porsche market has also gone totally mad.

I'm starting to look at less obvious aquisitions because some of the prices are starting to look too rich for me
