I have the stereo but I hardly use it because it's just not very good.

I had that useless iPod connection that broke soon after i purchased it and the repair is £800!! Needless to say it is still broke as i could not hear it that well anyway!

All that extra weight to carry around too wink . Sounds like no stereo is the spec to have.

Just bought my LHD scud from main dealer in Europe, one owner, 10k miles, 12 months Ferrari warranty, all options included fire extinguisher, sat nav, stereo, iPod connection, red harnesses, cf led steering wheel, black alcantra with red stitching, gold wheels, car cover and bag, body strip, roll bar, full Ferrari dealer history from same garage, including spare wheel kit in boot. Cannot beat the exchange rate at this time. For me LHD is more original design. Although rhd will be rarer as limited numbers.

Congrats on the new purchase - sounds like a lovely car!

Was it an easy experience getting the car back and registering it in the UK?

Im guessing you just searched through the main dealer network?

Found this 16m in Italy up for £140k with 21k miles on it but not sold my cs quick enough to get a flight out before securing a deal. The 16m was a bargain in my mind. Sold to a collect in Monaco.

Definitely the way to go with the current exchange rate. Wise purchase my friend, you can't go wrong at that price.

Scud numbers must actually be going up with all these cheap LHD imports

If buying a lhd drive best to get from abroad yourself instead of buying from garage here in the UK. I saved just over £45k buying abroad then buying the same car here in lhd. Dick Lovett had a similar scud like the Oneida just bought without any optional extras. Dealers here are getting a good commission out of their cars!!
I was lucky to get it from a main Ferrari dealer too. I know buying from Italy you need to be careful as the paperwork is a pain. Buying from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium much easier and you can easily found out if the car has been in accident or not.

For me the scud seems better bolted together then the cs and scud gearbox is awesome. The cs noise is had to beat though. Will miss the cs and looking forward to scud in many ways, newer, faster, build quality, rear end looks! And the interior is special, just finished off better then the cs.

Congratulations by the way Scud looks fantastic!
Took my Scud for a run out to Preston Supercar Meet this morning (epic cars regardless of what they cost)

Looks really nice, enjoy!

Theres a real spread on prices - guess its a case of research. I think i'd only ever feel comfortable buying from a main dealer...

Switzerland VAT
Belgium has had quite a bad reputation in the Porsche air cooled world for a long time now...don't know about Fcars though
But it's all about how serious the due diligence is done

Congrats on the red Scud however looks amazing

The Superfast II F1 gearbox in the 430 Scuderia is the best I have ever driven and probably will ever drive again given everything is Dual clutch DSG's these days.
Speciale/650S gearboxes may be smoother and faster but the shift sensation combined with sound on the Scuderia is the best it gets IMHO

CS sounds awesome but in comparison the shift is at best cumbersome so for me the answer would be to put a capristo on the Scuderia and have the best of both worlds.

Does this one seem fairly priced for a LHD?
