Does this one seem fairly priced for a LHD?
Just looking at the pictures again... This car looks like it's on French plate (as are the other cars - with Stirling prices in the windows??) so I would wager it's not even in the country yet. If that's the case this vendor is try to advertise it locally, still with the import process (can be painful but doable) to do and at an imported price.

Cheap isn't always best - you definitely need to do your homework with these things... Buyer beware...

Yup agree, just mentioning the fact it looked abit ropey but never the less wasn't expensive.

if buying from a main agent in Europe - do you think think that this should negate the worry? obviously you would probably still want to look over the car, but should a main agent have carried out a thorough inspection?

Unless it comes from Ferrari with Ferrari Power Warranty then you would still want a PPI done imo.

I get the 5,000 miler at £215k as a collectors car more so than the 18,000 miler at £199k which has been for sale for over 6 months at £179k and not sold ?????
Not sure why the £20k jump when its not opened a door for 6 months.
Silly season is upon us where dealers think of a number and hope because of low availability someone just stumps up the cash

But hey what do I know, apart from I won't be paying those sorts of prices only to get my fingers burnt

Don't think buying from a franchised dealer negates the need for a PPI. I flew over to Germany last week to inspect a regular F430 for someone - it's a good job I did as the car was grossly mis-described and had poorly repaired accident damage at the back (which wasn't disclosed). The car was being sold by a Ferrari dealer with 2 years warranty!

To not disclose accident damage is a massive 'no no' in Germany.

They pretended not to know about it. Either they were incompetent when checking the car prior to sale or dishonest enough to sell such a car. As soon as the car was rolled out into the sunlight it was apparent that the rear had been painted badly. A closer look confirmed the poor repair with secondhand parts.

Indeed - I understand that it is a criminal offence to sell a car without such a disclosure.

It is overall but it went uo from £175 to £180k in the interim so the latest rise is £20k.

Either way apart from the clocks going forward I can't see the change in the market to justify it when cars at still priced at £175k haven't sold for over 6 months.
Like I say you can advertise it for anything you like when there are relatively few around and it only takes 1 person willing to pay the price or think (s)he has got a bargain because (s)he negotiated £10k off

that's nothing, i am pretty sure a CGT listed on mobile.de went from c. 450k last autumn (pretty sure it was taken off sometime during winter) to 800k about a month or two ago to 1050k sometime in the last month - solid pricing strategy that
