Nice Pic!

I have just dropped mine in for a full paintwork correction detail and a clear wrap on the front bumper. Should look a different car in a couple of weeks and should dispel any thoughts I have of sellingsmile

Is it me or are the prices softening a bit to stimulate sales ?

Unlike Meridien to be so competitively priced relative to the market. Mine ( similar mileage spec, colour etc.. ) sold thru them within 2 weeks, 18 months ago for the same money

Not on their web site, pictures are theirs but looks to be a private advert with mobile number.

Isnt that just driven by sterling losing value vs euro - dont think euro asking prices have moved much since the step up 9-12 months ago

Edit: ah was wondering if you are switiching to a 991 RS

I actually think Euro prices have risen and uk had levelled off...

Also decided to stick with the Scud. It's just too good wink

Not been following these recently. By 'creep' do you mean rising? Tks.

Not following that closely - thougt they have been in the 170-200k range for a while.

I also would not change a scud for a 991 RS at current value. I think the RS is a little overvalued due to latest/greatest hype and would not be surprised if they come back down to about list - seem to be a lot for sale andquite a few now at the 250-260 euro level while initially all were in the hig 2s and low 3s. scud would be more than fast enough for me and sounds more special

That's more the RHD spread.

Agreed. It's such an event and having sat in the new RS (epic as it is) I don't think it's worth the switch...

But would you have the 2 of them together if you had the chance? I have had my Scud about 18 months, the RS arrives in July and I think they will be similar machines in terms of performance although different in character. I am therefore thinking of selling the Scud and buying a manual F355. One loony track biased machine and one a little slower but that I can enjoy at speeds where I don't have to worry about the local constabulary. My self control wanes in the Scud...

Hmmm... As another car alongside then yes, although would want to think more about that as for me the Scud stays and the RS is much the same ethos. Would probably go for an older more classic 911 if that were the case.

Revising this thread after a month or so... I am looking to get into a Scud if possible as I'm thinking that the LHD cars with low miles are good value at the moment??

I've never bought a LHD car before and my budget won't quite stretch to a RHD car at closer to 200k.

I will buy from a reputable dealer but should I be looking for anything when buying even from a Ferrari dealer in terms of how its been looked after and indeed spec or must haves?
Would there be a spec or colour that shouldn't be considered?

Seems ridiculous value at the moment?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Nothing over and above usual Ferrari purchase rules. These cars are fairly robust, look for good service history supported by documentation (of course include either inspection of reputable dealer) and you should be fine.

You wont be disappointed once purchased. Stunning cars and the old adage 'they don't make em like they used to' definitely applies here! biggrin

Keep us posted on your journey, be good to see what you end up with.
