355 Remote Fob

My spare black fob does not work. I have replaced the battery but when you press the button the red LED light does not come on. Is there anything that can be done to repair it or is it non a repairable part.

Make absolutely sure the contacts to the battery are good - the fobs themselves rarely go but the contacts can get loose

Thanks. When people say that their fobs have stopped working do they mean that it lights up but does not activate the cars looking and alarm system. Just checked mine and it has 12.7 volts on the board so contacts must be ok !

When mine (550) stopped working the red light was still being shown but the signal was too weak to be picked up. The Pin code was needed from Ferrari for new fob to be added.

Thanks Chris. That's what I thought but I don't know what has gone wrong with the two fobs that don't have a red light !
