I have seen this car a few times and do have a note of the VIN although I guess that isn't much use since you need the details from the vendor if you are looking to buy it.

Why haven't you visited the dealer to see the car or indeed left a deposit if the required information wasn't forthcoming? Forgive me for sounding rude its just the situation seems a little strange.

Car viewd, deposit placed, but dealer not forthcoming with some other details yet wants balance in full paid. As you say, for a car that is all of the money, the situation is indeed 'a little strange'

Very wierd. You can at least HPI it from the reg, but given its top money...well, sod it, regrdless of price/vehicle I think I'd be tempted to ask for the deposit back.

I'm not aware of anything amiss but I wouldn't take that to count for very much really. It is not a car I know well enough to have much input on unfortunately.

I don't have anything bad against this car in my database but I don't have that much detail on it and I don't have nay condition reports from anyone who has inspected the car.

If you don't decide to go ahead with the purchase I'd appreciate your thoughts on the car (good or bad).
